Ten days off. Ten days of freedom. From May 10 to 20, I left. Indonesia.

I burst out laughing discovering the little words-fun outraged colleagues and friends on my Facebook page. 

Yes, even Indonesia. The journey has its reasons which reason does not know. 

My destination: Pulau Weh, a small island off the coast of Banda Aceh, just west of Sumatra. 

It was short but intense. I do not regret this trip, decided almost at the last minute. Pulau Weh has regenerated me. The trip itself has dimmed me. Rennes - Paris - Abu Dhabi - Kuala Lumpur - Banda Aceh - Pulau Weh. Too long, too complicated, too tiring? Driven by the joy of this new journey, I plunged into the atmosphere of airports with delight enquille the successive immigration controls with bliss. 

Departures give me wings. Whenever I feel like a kid who was offered a tour of extra ride.

Pulau Weh 

Pulau Weh is the westernmost and northernmost of the inhabited islands of the archipelago. On the western tip of Sumatra, in the province of Banda Aceh, the "kilometer zero" in Indonesia. 

There is there a beach, Gapang that I really liked on a previous trip, there are four years old, and I wanted to see again. A quiet corner and authentic. As in 2010, I sat in one of the bungalows of the excellent Lumba Lumba Dive Centre.

The people of Gapang are always friendly and welcoming. Tourists who choose to come here are almost all divers.
